"The Art of Being Alive" is an original painting that I made entirely from purple, beige and white seashells.
The painting is inspired by the Aboriginal Australian style dot painting and was "born" as a result of my experience in Australia.
I handpicked the seashells in an Australian remote beach.
The meaning of the painting:
The white creature in the center is a happy human extremely excited about being alive.
All the purple dots represent all different kinds of decisions that a person makes a lifetime. You can see that the dots get directions. The directions tell us that based on the decisions we make, our life takes different paths.
The two white snakes at the right side, represent our "haters" or "enemies" who try to hurt us or even destroy us. You can see in the picture that they have a fast speed but they can never reach the human. My message is that no matter how bad the negativeness is, as soon as we stay happy and excited and focused on ourselves they can never really reach us or even harm us.
The size of the painting is 50x50x4 cm
