イモツキ (Imotski) is an original painting on canvas inspired from the Red Lake and a little from the Blue Lake located in Imotski, Croatia.

Why イモツキ?
Because the first time I heard the name of this Croatian town I thought it would be a place in Japan since the order of the letters are a perfect combination of a Japanese word.

The town of Imotski has some of the most beautiful and special lakes that I have ever seen. After seeing the Red Lake for the first time, I could not stop thinking about it. I walked to it in the night and starred at it for a long time.

I spent about 1 year in making this painting and I used canvas, wood, acrylic paint, paper, fabric, construction foam, clay, cement, epoxy and many tools to bring this piece to life.

It has a 3D effect and the size of 100 cm x 100 cm.

There is only one such painting in the world.
